Beth aged 3 - heh!
BETH's page...
Beth's a Mackem, which means she was born in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, England.

She went locally to Richard Avenue Primary School, then Thornhill Comprehensive before taking her A' Levels at the City of Sunderland College (Shiney Row).

Beth then went to Lancaster University in the North-West of England where she graduated three years later with a 2:1 Honours degree in Music.

She worked for The Associated Board of The Royal Schools of Music in London for 5 years- being Personal Assistant to the manager for Syllabus Development and then a Marketing Executive for their Staff Development services. During this time, she completed a part-time Masters degree with The Institute of Education (University of London) where she combined her work-related research with her MA studies in Music Education.

Beth has always been a musician and can now play almost every instrument possible. She played mostly piano when she was young, but chose voice as her first instrument for A' Levels (she's a soprano). She has sung with the London Symphony Chorus and The Exmoor Singers as well as being involved in charity concerts and The Edinburgh Festival. Whilst in London, she sang with a Gospel Choir and took lessons in singing jazz.
She lived for some years in East London, where she bought a flat with her fiance (now husband), Chris.
In 2005, they moved to Cambridge, UK. Chris relocated his business there and for a while Beth commuted to London for work. In January 2006, she became an Academic Programme Manager for The University of Cambridge, working in the Continuing Education Department and concentrating on devising and organising vocational courses for Industry. She is now Marketing Director for Chris' company, Prospect Research.
